I coordinate MRV II project work between FAO and EFD. I support the infrastructure behind Ethiopia's national forest monitoring: the servers, GIS pipelines and satellite-analysis tools that feed REDD+ reporting, ART-TREES verification and the National Forest Inventory.
Before FAO, I worked in humanitarian data (CRS Ethiopia, Social Impact), engineering and consulting (Huawei, Ernst & Young), agritech (Green Way Farms) and hotel ICT. During my master's at NTNU in Norway, I also worked a summer position at Autronica in Trondheim. I have taught electrical and computer engineering at AAiT and other Ethiopian universities.
